COVID19 is still upon us. Please practice safe recreational practices. Great Salt Lake State Park and Marina are still open during COVID19 but masks MUST be worn inside all buildings and when safe social distancing (6 feet) cannot be maintained outside.
Lake Levels
We have had a historically poor winter for direct precipitation and snowpack. The lake will hit a historic low this fall. That will bring unmanageable lake levels in the marina for moderate to deep draft keel boats. It is imperative we begin pulling the boats this spring before the lake drops trapping boats in their slip.
Climate Prediction
National Weather Service is predicting we will have a hotter-than-normal and dryer than normal summer. This does not bode well for a long sailing season.
